Our family

Scott and I have been married for 14 years. High school sweethearts still, we are enlarging our family by five very soon. Our "cinco nuestros ninos" will be here soon, we hope! Scott has been the mayor of our town Harlem,GA, for six years. He recently resigned to run for Columbia County Commissioner. If you live in Harlem, Appling or Grovetown, vote for him in July! The renovation on the house is closing in on the end. A little more painting and we're DONE! Now that we have caught the renovation bug, our family purchased another 19th century house-to make a bed and breakfast! Check outour work at RedOakManor.com. The party spaces and B&B are open for business and the restaurant will open in August! The children's new birth certificates have been ordered, but of course, the process has recently changed. We are one of the first families to send paperwork through, so we don't have an estimate of how long it will take. Pray that it is soon!

We hope Marlin, Silda, Sindy, Mimi, and Byron will be here from Guatemala soon. Things have been slowly moving through the adoption process.Our case has CLEARED the PGN! We are waiting now on birth certificates and passports! We are getting close! Keep praying! We would love to have them home for Mimi's birthday, July 4th. With God's sense of humor, it could be the week of the election! No matter what, we are ready to bring our children home.

Our little monkey Sindy fell out of a tree in the orphange and has seriously injured her arm. She has had two surgeries and is recouperating in the orphange. She had the pins removed this week in a nearby hospital! She and Anthony are both 11 and call themselves "twins", can't you see the resemblance?!
